Benzie Johnson: Benzie Johnson is an Albany High School Alumni-Class of 1982. Attended both Herkimer & Hudson Valley Community Colleges, majoring in Criminal Justice and Construction Technology. I am a 46 year resident of the City of Albany and a former one year resident of the City of Cohoes within Albany County. I am married with two children. I am a former Committeeman in the City of Albany's South End Neighborhood and a former Albany Mayoral Candidate of 2001, 2005 and 2009. I am an active, independent colleague of the residents, through my attendance at various meetings on issues that directly effect the residents, to my community tours in neighborhoods speaking on the issues with the residents, currently and over the years. Through my suggestions of resolutions and alternative ideas to problematic issues,I have been successful in resolving issues for residents.
